Getting started: from a walk to a published list
Walk your benches, confirm your counts, and publish an availability list your buyers can open — the whole loop.
The whole point is one loop: walk your crop, get your counts current, and publish an availability list your buyers can order from. You can run it in an afternoon.
Start by adding your plants. Each line is one lot — one plant, in one container size, in one place: a #3 viburnum on the north bench, a flat of little bluestem in the back house.
Walk the benches with your phone and update counts as you go. It works with no signal, so a dead-WiFi hoop house or the back field is fine — everything syncs when you are back in range.
When your counts are current, compose a list from what is actually ready and priced, check the staleness flags, and publish. Publishing freezes a dated version and gives you a share link, a PDF, and a CSV.
Send that link to your buyers, or let them find it. When they send order requests, you confirm each one. That is the loop — the articles below cover each step in more detail.
